Oddhouse Farm Wedding Photographer

From a photographer’s point of view, the Oddhouse Farm is an absolute gift to Photograph weddings at. The Dutch Barn is beautifully bright (honestly, a dream to shoot in) with loads of natural light pouring in, so everything looks clean, vibrant, and full of life without even trying. Then you’ve got the surrounding countryside giving you space to breathe and create, plus little gems like the Traveller’s Hut for those quieter, more intimate moments. It’s one of those venues where everywhere you turn, there’s another great spot, another bit of light, another opportunity — which basically means your wedding gallery is going to be stacked.

Rustic Charm meets Modern Elegance

Nestled in the rolling countryside on the edge of the Vale of Belvoir in Owthorpe, Nottinghamshire, Oddhouse Farm is one of those venues that instantly feels special the moment you arrive. Blending beautifully restored farm buildings with a contemporary Dutch barn, it offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern elegance. What really sets it apart is the exclusive-use experience — couples get the space for multiple days, allowing everything to feel relaxed, personal, and completely unhurried. From the romantic Granary ceremony space to the stylish barn reception and on-site accommodation, everything is thoughtfully designed to create a seamless, intimate wedding experience surrounded by peaceful countryside views.

Emma & Kieran's wedding day

Emma got ready at her parents’ house, surrounded by her bridesmaids, family, and of course their dog Pippin—who completely stole the show!

Emma had incredible taste throughout every part of the day, from the venue and colour choices for the bridesmaids’ dresses to the flowers, wedding vehicle and carefully chosen suppliers. Bridal prep was such a great atmosphere, with Nicola the hairdresser and Hayley Marie the make-up artist—both of whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with many times before—bringing plenty of fun and energy to the morning.

I had a feeling it was going to be a great day, and thankfully, the weather didn’t get in the way. The rain eased just as Emma and Kieran left the church, and by the time we arrived at Oddhouse Farm—and after the wedding breakfast—we were able to head outside and capture some amazing photos around the venue.

We also made the most of their brilliant wedding campervan from Sage & Spig, which made for some really fun, relaxed shots when we arrived. Pippin made another appearance too, clearly loving being part of the action!

Kieran was a little reluctant in front of the camera at first, but it didn’t take long for him to relax. By the end, he was completely at ease, and we captured some great, natural moments between the two of them.

After the wedding breakfast and speeches, guests made the most of the outdoor garden games before heading inside for a packed dance floor and a brilliant evening of celebrations.

All in all, it was a fantastic day, and these photos will always be a reminder of such an incredible wedding.

Their 5 Star Google Review

"Well, what can we say! The absolute best wedding photographer we could have wished for. He nailed the brief perfectly and made us both feel at ease, especially when one of us is not a huge photo fan! Everyone commented saying how great our photographer was, and someone even asked if we knew him before; we didn’t, but it just goes to prove how well he fitted in and captured our amazing day. Can’t thank you enough, Geoff, you were brilliant and our day wouldn’t have been the same without you. Please book Geoff as your wedding photographer, you won’t regret it!"
