Colin and Rebecca’s Priory House Exotic Wedding Adventure. Long Bennington, Lincolnshire.
I’ve been meaning to blog this Priory House wedding for sometime now, as it was such a fantastic wedding day.
When Rebecca and Colin discussed their wedding details with me they told me how great Priory House in Lincolnshire was and how excited they were. When I the venue for my self on the morning of the wedding it didn’t disappoint, it was amazing. Which is why I have included a few more images in this post then normal, so you can take in the Priory’s exotic splendour.
Priory House Lincolnshire and The Oriental Brewhouse.
This exotic wedding venue is a real treasure trove. The Brewhouse is A Grade 11 listed Elizabethan Longhouse which stands next to a stone Georgian Priory House. Around the back of the house there’s a flower filled conservatory for ceremonies which over looks some beautiful gardens. In the front garden there’s an old victorian caravan which is great for photos and this is surrounded with well established old trees.
The interior is both exotic and eclectic, everywhere you look there’s some unique peice of furniture and memoabila from around the world from Victorian dolls, stuffed lion heads to dramatic shell mirrors it really is a feast to the lens.
The Couple.
Colin and Rebecca were a joy to capture on the day. You can see on their faces how much they love each other and how much they enjoyed their quirky wedding day.
You could tell they worked in media by the amount of preparation they put in to every detail. Before they all got ready in to their wedding attire, they all meet (including the bridal party) up in the conservatory to run through the ceremony priory to their guests arrival. Which I thought was a great idea and it worked as the ceremony and the rest of the day went with out a hitch.
I hope you enjoy this wedding with a difference as much as I did capturing it.
