Katie and Oliver’s original Vale of Belvoir wedding photographer cancelled at the last minute and lucky for me I was still available to photograph their wonderful traditional English wedding.
Their venue of choice was The Chequers Inn in Woolsthorpe. This intimate, quaint wedding venue has grown to be one of my favourite county pub locations. It’s a quintessential 17th Century English country pub set in the wonderful Nottinghamshire countryside in the Vale of Belvoir. Nestled between Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire in the unspoilt and stunning Vale of Belvoir, with views of Belvoir Castle the ancestral home of the Duke of Rutland.
From Bunting to Confetti
Oliver and Katie’s wedding had a wonderful English Country theme with pastel-coloured bunting and pink roses in Katie’s bouquets. The food was of the highest quality and even the sun made an appearance to round off their perfect day!
