frequently asked questions
How far do you travel?
As I’m a Nottingham wedding photographer I am in a central location so have shot many weddings around the UK - including weddings as far as Scotland and Southhampton.
There are of course additional charges where travel is longer than 90 minutes and potentially an overnight stay is needed. This can be discussed on a wedding by wedding basis.
How do I book you as my wedding photographer ?
Fill in the enquiry form on the contact page, I will email you back and give you further details on my packages. We can then organise a zoom call or a face to face meet if you wish, to discuss your wedding plans. Once you have chosen a package or the coverage that you’d like, I can then send you an official quote with details of the deposit and the contract.
When do we get our images after the wedding?
I take considerable care in the editing and post production work of your photographs, so I aim to to have your full gallery of images with from four to six weeks after your wedding date, depending on the time of year. Before this time, within 48 hours of your wedding day, I will have also selected 10 preview images from the highlights of day. The photographs will be available for you to view via an online password protected gallery, where you can download all of the high resolution images.
What happens if it rains?
Nothing different! I embrace the weather whatever it throws at us. I have been shooting weddings for 14 years and during this time have managed some extremely tricky conditions. Be assured I can adapt to any situation and we will still make your day incredible.
What if I'm camera shy?
I make sure I know you well before the wedding, whether this be through zoom/ face to face meetings, engagement shoots or chats on the phone. Many of my couples have commented how I make them feel at ease in front of the camera. Please see my reviews for more comments on this.
How many photos will we get?
I don’t limit the number of images you’ll receive so the number really varies for each wedding. As a general rule you’ll receive at least 500 images but in most cases it’s a lot more. Additionally every wedding I photograph is posted to a password protected gallery which you can share with your family and guests.
What happens if you are ill or can’t make it to our wedding?
Since becoming a full-time wedding photographer, I have lots of connections within the industry. I am part of a Nottingham based photography group of like minded, talented and reputable photographers. If I was unwell prior to your wedding I would ensure I arranged suitable cover should this event ever happen. To date in 14 years I have never missed a wedding.
